Fluid resistant and certified to EN standards, offering exceptional protection you can rely on.

One of the most fundamental components of PPE is shielding face masks, which cover the nose and mouth, followed by gloves, eye goggles or visors.

What is the Surgical Face Mask Type IIR?

The Surgical Face Mask Type IIR is a high quality, fluid resistant face mask that's highly effective at preventing infected water droplets from entering the respiratory system (IIR masks are a European standard and the R means that they are fluid resistant). Type IIR masks are certified to meet all European (EU) standards, they are one of the most reliable masks available for providing medical grade protection. They are 3-ply, meaning they are made with 3 layers of fabric to better protect the nose and mouth.

What are the benefits of Surgical Face Mask Type IIR?

  • 3 Ply (3 Layers)
  • Certified to EN (EU) Standards
  • Fluid resistant
  • Comfortable and breathable

How do I wear the 3 Ply IIR face mask correctly?

Step 1.
Take the mask and carefully stretch it out. The white side of the mask should be facing the face with the nose bridge strip positioned at the top.

Step 2.
Place one ear loop on your ear and hold the mask at the bridge of your nose while you place the other ear loop around your other ear.

Step 3.
Adjust the ear straps to make sure they are comfortable and secure. Both ear straps should be comfortable and secure.

Step 4.
Hold the bridge of the nose and fully stretch out the mask from top to bottom to fit the mask to the curve of the face. The mask should cover both the nose and the mouth.
